Steps to reproduce

1) Open Modo and create a cube item.

2) Go to the Items list and select the newly created cube, select the channels tab.

3) Scroll down to the mesh channel and click the greyed out text.

Expected behaviour
For the mesh channel to be selected.

Actual behaviour
Modo crashes.

Workaround
Unknown.
