Problem summary:
Clipped values occur when exporting a Matchgrade LUT and using it in an OCIOFileTransform soft effect.
Customer reported version:
Nuke11.3v3
Customer reported platform:
CentOS7
Steps to reproduce
1) Launch Nuke and create a MatchGrade node.
2) Read in 2 source files and attach them to the MatchGrade node.
3) Set a reference frame key, then execute the Analyze Reference Frames button.
4) Create a LUT output file and execute Write.
5) Open Nuke Studio and import the footage.
6) Right-click the clip on the timeline on select Effects > LUT
7) Choose the file saved from step 4.
8) View the LUT on the timeline versus that in Nuke.
Expected behavior:
The MatchGrade LUT would appear the same in Studio/Hiero as it did in Nuke.
Actual behavior:
The OCIOFileTransform appears with clipped values. The Vectorfield and OCIOFileTransform nodes do not support extrapolation.
Workaround:
Working in a log colorspace seems to correct the issue.
