Problem summary
Select by Range and Select by Int Range have incorrect and inconsistent behaviour

Customer reported version
modo.13.1v1

Customer reported platform
10.14

Steps to reproduce

1) Download and open the attached scene file.

2) Go to the Setup Layout and change the perspective to Front.

3) Try the following:

  • Select by Range cannot set value under 0 whereas Int Range From Pattern can (Select by Range is clamped to 0).

  • When Int Range From Pattern is set to 0,0 everything is selected, when this is done on Select by Range only the first is selected.

  • If you set Select by Range to Start 0 and End 49 it selects 50 polygons, if this is done on Int Range From Pattern it selects 49 polygons.

  • Select by Range adds the Step value before it selects the first component. This means that you can't select the first couple of components if you use a Step value greater than 1.

Expected behaviour
These selection types should work consistently.

Actual behaviour

These selection types have inconsistencies and incorrect behaviour.

Workaround
Unknown.
