Problem summary
The application fails to launch and gives an error when using NukeX and NukeStudio shortcuts on macOS.

Steps to reproduce
1) Download and install the latest version of Nuke for macOS (12.0v2 at this time).
2) Run the .dmg installer, and install the application to the default directory (/Applications).
3) Run the NukeX or NukeStudio shortcut from the installation directory.

Expected behavior
The NukeX or NukeStudio application should launch without errors.

Actual behavior
The NukeX or NukeStudio application does not launch and gives an error similar to: "The file /private/var/folders/wp/yk6_b1zj713fk3yk8w9cn1x40000gn/T/AppTranslocation/1AAD568F-1E5D-4D31-89F0-F8EAA5029FCB/d/Nuke12.0v2.app does not exist."

 



Workaround
Manually creating a desktop shortcut for NukeX or NukeStudio allows to launch the application without error. More information on how to do this can be found in our Knowledge Base article.
