Steps to reproduce

1) Open the attached archive 

2) Go to UV view and try to select the faces or patch 

result: Mari does not select anything

3) Try to paint on the UV patch and bake it

result: After baking the paint disappears 

Expected behaviour
Mari should allow the user to select and bake in the UV view 

Actual behaviour
Unable to bake and select faces in UV view

Workaround
Re-importing the project as session script is overcoming the issue
