Problem summary:
The Viewer shortcuts are not set when using a non-English keyboard layout.

Steps to reproduce:
1) In the operating system, ensure a non-English keyboard layout is used, such as French AZERTY.
2) Launch Nuke and place a Read node.
3) Press the number keys on the keyboard and observe functionality (1, 2, 3).
Expected behavior:
The Viewer node should become set with the view when using the number keys.
Actual behavior:
The Viewer was not set when using the number keys.
Workaround:
Press & hold Shift and the corresponding number to set the Viewer.
