Problem summary Short freeze when a pie menu is revealed

Steps to reproduce 1) Open Modo. 2) Hold "Ctrl" and click the sphere tool to create a unit sphere. 3) Hold alt + right click and spin the viewport; it should start revolving around the sphere. 4) Press Ctrl + Space to reveal a pie menu. Result: Modo should freeze very briefly. If not, move the camera around in the scene and repeat steps 3-4 until the issue occurs.
Expected behaviour Revealing a pie menu should not cause the viewport to freeze.
Actual behaviour Revealing a pie menu can cause the viewport and even other windows to freeze very briefly.
Workaround Unknown.
