ID 144533 - Gamma in grade node miscalculates when color input values are over 1

Follow

Problem summary
The Gamma knob in the Grade node miscalculates when color input values are over 1.

Customer reported version
nuke.12.0v3

Customer reported platform
10.15

Steps to reproduce

1) In Nuke, create a constant node and set the color value to 5.

2) Create a Grade, Colorcorrect, and Gamma node, then set the gamma knobs to 0.5 on all three nodes.

3) Attach the Constant to the input of all three nodes and observe the Viewer output of the RGB values.

Expected behavior
The RGB values should appear identical for each node with Gamma applied. A gamma function is: pow(input,1/gamma)

Actual behavior
The gamma values over 1 appear incorrect.

Workaround
There is no available workaround at this time.
