Nuke freezes or crashes and gives errors when reading multiple ARRIRAW files in Studio/Hiero on Linux.

Steps to reproduce

1) In Studio/Hiero, import a large ARRIRAW MXF file.

2) Place the imported file on the timeline to create a sequence.

3) Select the clip on the timeline and press C and right arrow on the keyboard to cut the clip.

4) Continue cutting the clip until at least 20-30 cuts are made.

5) Click Play on the timeline to view the footage.

6) Attempt to load any other software.

 

Expected behavior
The other software should load without issues and Nuke should remain stable.

 

Actual behavior
Nuke either freezes, crashes, or the system locks up and gives an error of "Failed to fork: Resource temporarily unavailable" or "boost::thread_resource_error: Resource temporarily unavailable"

 

Workaround
There is no available workaround at this time.
