ID 427469 - [B] Flix fails to download and upload over split-tunnel VPN on macOS

Problem summary

Flix does not always use the VPN DNS server when using a split-tunel VPN connection

Steps to reproduce

1) Connect to a split-tunnel VPN connection

2) Log in to Flix
 
3) Try to create new panels/sequences

Expected behaviour

New panels/sequences should be created

Actual behaviour

Flix fails because it can not resolve the Flix server name

Workaround

Add the flix server name and IP in the /etc/hosts file
