Steps to reproduce

1) In Mari, load the Example Head project.

2) Open the Objects palette, then add at least 5 geo-channels.

3) Select ImportImageSet of GeoChannel1 and choose an image set.

4) Repeat step 3 at least 3 times, observing performance of Mari.

Expected behavior
The geo-channel material should be loaded.

Actual behavior
The software crashes with an error.

Workaround
There is no available workaround at this time.
