Steps to reproduce

1) Launch Modo
2) Create a cube
3) Swap to the UV layout.
4) Slice the cube so there's a cross through the cube (i.e make one side of the cube have 4 polys).
5) Select the vert in the middle and select the Slide tool.
7) Enable Slip UVs and disable Merge Vertices.
8) Slide the vertices.
Result: UVs don't update

Expected behaviour
The UVs should update.

Actual behaviour
The UVs don't update.
