ID 396517 - [C] No user feedback after clearing local asset cache

Problem summary

If the local asset cache is not very full, and a user wants to clear it via the Flix UI, the application gives them no feedback regarding whether or not the clearing is complete.

Steps to reproduce

 

1) Go to Flix->Preferences->Advanced

2) Click on the Clear button
 

 

Expected behaviour

There should be a notification that the Cache has been cleared.

 

Actual behaviour

If the cache has files in it a percentage number will show up for a second and then disappear. If there aren't any files in the cache clicking the button won't do anything, but the user doesn't have any feedback if clicking the button worked or not.

 

Workaround

Check the local assets cache directory manually.
