Problem summary When keyframing a bezier within the Roto node, once a bezier is drawn, by default it will create an animation icon on the node, indicating that it is keyframed.
If the bezier is created when the autokey option within the toolbar is disabled, when the autokey is turned back on and keyframes are added, the Roto node will not include the animation icon.
Customer reported version nuke.12.1v2
Customer reported platform 10.14
Steps to reproduce
1) Create a Roto node
2) With the Roto node selected, press the 'Select All' arrow button in the viewer toolbar, to expose the top row bezier controls
3) In the bezier controls, turn off the autokey option
4) Draw a bezier within the Viewer
5) Turn on the autokey option
6) Create a keyframe by moving a point on the bezier, over one or two frames Result: No animation icon on Roto node
Expected behaviour Creating a keyframe should add the animation icon to the Roto node, regardless of whether the bezier was created when the autokey was off.
Actual behaviour The animation icon is not created when the keyframes are created
Workaround Unknown.
