Problem summary import.layer cannot copy the base material of a scene to a different scene.

Steps to reproduce 1) Open Modo. 2) Open the provided scene. 3) Press "Ctrl + N" to create a new scene. 4) Re-select the scene opened in step 2. 5) Select the "Shading" tab in the item list. 6) Select "Copy Material" from the list. 7) In the "Command" bar at the bottom right, paste the following command and press "enter:" ?layer.import 2 position:0 8) In the resulting window, leave the default settings (Children + Shaders enabled, Remove Source Items disabled) and click "OK." Result: Modo will attempt to copy the material, but nothing will appear in the destination scene.
Expected behaviour Modo should be able to copy any item between scenes via the layer.import command.
Actual behaviour Modo is unable to copy the base material between scenes.
Workaround Move the material into a group mask or nest it under another layer.
