Steps to reproduce

1) Open Modo and create a simple cylinder.
2) Select the top row of edges and enable Symmetry.
3) Go to the Edge tab and select Join Averaged.

Result: Modo crashes.

Expected behaviour

Modo should join the edges.

Actual behaviour
Modo crashes.

Workaround
