Steps to reproduce
This issue can be reproduced by compiling the attached plugin.
Alternatively, you may also see this issue when reading in an unsupported MOV codec. A warning will be displayed in the Viewer, but nothing is printed to the terminal.
Expected behaviour
Warnings and error messages should get printed to the terminal.
Actual behaviour
Warnings and error messages do not get printed to the terminal.
