ID 437000 - [S] From Avid: Clip with an effect and x stacked clips therein will appear in Flix as x panels instead of 1

Follow

Problem summary
A panel with an effect and nested clips inside will do not import into Flix as one panel as it should. Instead, there will be as many panels as there are in the nest, each with the duration the one panel should have been. This causes timing issues in Flix, and an audio mismatch, if an audio file is present.

Customer reported version
6.3.3

Steps to reproduce
1) In Flix, create a two panel Sequence Revision and publish it to Avid.

2) In Avid, add an animatte effect to the first clip.

3) Nest the second clip inside the first, instead of it being on the timeline next to it.

4) Publish this back to Flix with Render All Frames.

Expected behaviour
The Sequence in Flix should have one animated panel displaying the animatte effect.

Actual behaviour
Two identical animated panels are present in the Sequence.
