Setting the Avid Media Composer Preferences not to use the timing from Flix, and not to have a set Mark Out causes a PMM Insufficient Media error in Avid, rendering the sequence itself unusable.
Steps to Reproduce
1) In Flix, go to Preferences > Third Party Apps > Avid Media Composer and set the following options as such:
Use Flix Timing: Disabled (shows as white)
Mark In: Enabled (shows as green)
Mark Out: Disabled (shows as white)
2) Create a short test Sequence Revision (5-15 panels).
3) Publish this to Avid. Upon importing the AAF, you will either get the PMM Insufficient Media error straight away, or upon double clicking on the sequence in the Bin.
Expected behaviour
Successful publish, no errors upon importing the AAF in Avid. The clip is {[duration]-[mark in]} long as the Mark Out is assumed to be the end of the clip.
Actual behaviour
Publish from Flix is successful, but the error PMM Insufficient Media is seen when importing the AAF into Avid.
Workaround
Set a Mark Out point for clips.
