GPU performance spikes when moving the mouse cursor in the Canvas window from the Node Graph with Pause Canvas enabled.

Steps to reproduce

1) In Mari, open the Example Head project.

2) In Windows, open the Task Manager and select the Performance tab.

3) Place the applications side-by-side to view one another at the same time

4) In Mari, move the mouse cursor over the Node Graph and use the mouse wheel to zoom in/out, observing performance in the GPU Task Manager.

4) Move the mouse cursor over the 3D Viewer and observe GPU performance.


Expected behavior
The mouse cursor should only redraw the canvas when a change occurs.


Actual behavior
The canvas is being drawn when moving the mouse cursor over the Viewer, even while being used in the Node Graph.


Workaround
There is no available workaround at this time.
