Problem summary
Applying "Set Vertex Normals" to a mesh and rotating it in a component mode corrupts the vertex normals.

Steps to reproduce
1) Open Modo and create a cube.
2) Slightly bevel the edges of the cube and apply "set vertex normals"
3) Turn on "show vertex normals" from the view menu.
5) Move the mesh away in polygon mode from the item's center/pivot.
6) Rotate the mesh in polygon mode with "update" normals on.
7) Notice how the vertex normals change.
Expected behaviour
The Vertex normals should stay locked and follow the item.
Actual behaviour
Rotating a mesh in polygon mode with "Set vertex normals" applied corrupts the vertex normals.
Workaround
Unknown.
