ID 426027 - [S] From Avid: gap with overlaying clip will cause the previous panel to import into Flix with incorrect duration

Follow

Problem summary

Panel preceding a gap in the same Avid timeline track will come through Flix with incorrect duration. This can cause some panel durations to also be negative, depending on the length of the gap.

Customer reported version

6.3.3

Steps to reproduce

1) In Flix, create a Sequence Revision with 3 panels.

2) Alter all panel durations so each on is 24 frames long.

3) Publish this Sequence Revision to Avid.

4) In Avid, create a second track, and move the second clip up on that track, while maintaining its original start and end points in the timeline.

5) Publish this back to Flix. The first panel's duration will be wrong.

Expected outcome
All panel durations should still be 24 frames.

Actual outcome
The first panel duration is now set to 12 frames.

Workaround

Bring down any clips that are on top of gaps on tracks below.

OR
Fill in the gap with a blank PNG.
