Steps to reproduce

1) Download and open the attached scene file.
2) Select File > Open inside of Modo and open the file.
3) Go to the Groups tab and view the layout.

4) Close the scene file.

5) Select File > Import inside of Modo and import the file.

6) Go to the Groups tab and view the layout. Notice that it's completely different.

Expected behaviour

The Group list should look the same whether it's opened or imported.

Actual behaviour
The Group list looks completely different depending on whether it's opened or imported.
