Follow

Problem summary
Exporting a script with various Output colorspaces gives an Invalid LUT selected error.

Customer reported version
nuke.12.1v3

Customer reported platform
10.15

Steps to reproduce

1) In Nuke Studio, open the Project > Edit Settings > Colorspace and set the aces_1.1 config file.

2) Import footage onto the Timeline to create a Sequence.

3) Export the sequence, setting the colorspace as Output - sRGB (D60 sim.)

Expected behavior
The export should finish without giving an error.

Actual behavior
An error occurs when exporting with any of the Output options utilizing the parentheses, including but not limited to the (P3D60 Limited),(Rec.709 Limited), (P3D65 Limited), (D60 Simulation) colorspaces.

Workaround
Using other Output colorspaces without parentheses works without issue.

Reproduced by Support in:
Nuke 12.2v4 - Windows 10

Nuke 12.2v1 - Windows 10

Nuke 12.1v1 - Windows 10

Nuke 12.0v1 - Windows 10

Unable to reproduce bug in:
NukeStudio 11.3v5 - Windows 10

Earliest version tested
NukeStudio 11.3v5 - This issue appears to have regressed.

Testing notes:
Change to ACES config and test exporting a sequence with output colorspace set to:

  • A colorspace with role ("<colorspace> (<role>)")
  • A normal colorspace but that contains brackets, e.g. the d60 sim one specified in this bug
  • A normal colorspace without brackets
  • the 'default' colorspace
  • Confirm the export still works fine without any errors
