Problem summary
Using Ctrl + Z to undo an action multiple times in a row causes mesh items to revert incorrectly.

Steps to reproduce
1) Download and open the attached scene file.
2) Select 3 polygons in a row at the front of the mesh
3) Drag them up and then deform them using the Shear tool.
4) Delete the 3 selected polygons and select the surrounding polygons and rotate them a few times in different directions.
5) Press the Ctrl + Z key to undo the changes multiple times.
Expected behaviour
The mesh to revert to the same state it was in before the changes were made.
Actual behaviour
The mesh item reverts to a broken state.
Workaround
Unknown.
