Steps to reproduce

1) Open the attached scene file.
2) Press the F9 key to render the scene, notice that the shadow is offset.
3) Go to the Shader Tree and select the Base Material item

4) Inside of the Material Ref tab change the Smoothing Angle to 30.

5) Re-render the scene and notice that the offset is no longer present.

Expected behaviour

The shadow should be inline.

Actual behaviour

The shadow is incorrectly offset.

Workaround
Unknown.
