Problem summary
Flix migration tool only looks for certain filename patterns
Customer reported version
flix_6.3.6
migration_tool 65
Customer reported platform
centos7
Steps to reproduce
1) Create a sequence in Flix 5
2) Upload some files and make sure they don't follow the filepaterns which the migration tool v65 looks for - PANELID_vREVISION.psd or PANELID_REVISION_v1.psd
Expected behaviour
Flix should be able to find the correct psd no matter what filename pattern is used.
Flix should check at least also for the following filepatters which have been reported to come from Flix 5:
PANELID_1_vREVISION.psd
PANELID_REVISION_vRANDOMNUMBER.psd
SEQUENCETRACKINGNUMBER_SEQUENCENAME_edit_SEQUENCEREVISIONNUMBER_PANELID_vREVISION.psd
SEQUENCENAME_edit_SEQUENCEREVISIONNUMBER_PANELID_vREVISION.psd
_PANELID_vREVISION.psd
PANELID_Card main__vREVISION.psd
PANELIDmain__ main__vREVISION.psd
Ideally, if the migration tool doesn't find any of the above filename patterns, it should go a search all psds for PANELID and REVISION. If it finds a match it should ask the user if they want to use the file which was found or to look for a flat .jpg version of the panel.
Actual behaviour
Flix finds only panels which follow the expected filename patterns.
Workaround
Manually check the file-structure and if there are any psds which don't follow the expected filename pattern, create symbolic link pointing to them from a filename which Flix expects.
