ID 462982 - [Server hang] To Avid: Failed publishes render the Flix Server unable to perform any processing after that

Problem summary
The Flix Server will be unable to complete any processing tasks following a failed publish to Avid.
Any user wanting to import panels, publish, generate a QuickTime etc for any Show will face a hang at "Extracting IDs from request".

Steps to reproduce

The steps required to reproduce this bug consistently require directly modifying panel metadata in the database or files in the assets directory.

Expected behaviour
Failed publishes to Avid should not affect future tasks.

Actual behaviour
Failed publishes to Avid prevent Flix from being able to process anything after that.

Workaround
Stop the Flix Server(s), make sure there aren't any lingering flix processes, then restart the Server(s).
