Problem summary
Using Edge Chamfer creates overlapping and messy UV layout
This occurs if the Edge Chamfer tool is applied either directly or procedurally
Customer reported version
Modo 14.2v2
Customer reported platform
Windows 10
Steps to reproduce
1) Open the UV Editor (Texture > Open UV Editor)
2) Create a Teapot primitive by clicking Geometry > Primitive Tools > Teapot, then open the Tool Properties and click Apply
3) Switch to Edges Mode by pressing 2 and select all the Edges by clicking Select > All or pressing Alt+Shift+A
4) Open the Model toolbar on the left panel, click the Edge sub-tab and then click Edge Chamfer
5) Open the Tool Properties and increase the Offset to 1mm
To reproduce using procedural workflow:
1) Follow steps 1-3 above
2) In the Item List on the right panel, right click the mesh and click Add Mesh Operation
3) Type 'Edge Chamfer' in the search bar and press Enter
4) In the Properties panel, increase the Offset to 1mm
Expected behaviour
The UVs of the new polygons should be clean and non-overlapping. They should respect the original UV seams, similar to the behaviour of the Bevel tool
Actual behaviour
The new UVs are overlapping and messy, with shells now sewn together that were previously separate
