Steps to reproduce

1) In Nuke, create a RotoPaint node.

2) In the Properties bin of the RotoPaint node, create a new layer.

3) Open the Translate tab and add select the Translate X knob.

4) Add an expression for "frame", then press OK.

5) Right-click the translate x knob and select Edit > Generate, then accept the dialog.

Expected behavior
The knob should generate keys.

Actual behavior
An error prompt appears with the message: "Can't assign an animation to this knob."

Workaround
There is no available workaround at this time.
