Problem summary
When the NMC/E is open across large resolution areas, such as when using a high resolution monitor or across multiple monitors, performance of the Node Graph is visibly choppy.
This also has the potential to affect other areas of the UI, particularly the Viewer.

Steps to reproduce
This was reproduced using two 2560x1440p displays on the following machine:
Intel® Xeon(R) CPU E5620 @ 2.40GHz
Quadro M5000/PCIe/SSE2
1) Create a NetworkMaterialCreate node and jump inside
2) Maximize the Node Graph tab across both monitors
3) Pan quickly around the NMC
Expected behaviour
Framerate remains locked at 60fps whilst panning
Actual behaviour
Panning is visibly choppy and the NMC only draws at ~25fps
