Steps to reproduce

1) Open Mari, select Edit > Shortcuts and assign a custom hotkey to the Selection Groups Palette:


2) Select OK and press Space over the 3D viewport to maximise it.
3) Use the shortcut you set to open the Selection Groups Palette. Notice that the viewport is no longer maximised and the palette appears.

4) Press Space on the Node Graph to maximise it.

5) Use the shortcut again and notice that the palette is maximised across the entire window.

Expected behaviour
Using a shortcut to show a floating palette should work consistently on maximised windows.

Actual behaviour
Using a shortcut to show a floating palette produces a different result depending on the maximised window.

Workaround
Unknown.
