Problem summary
Using "Make open curve" or Shift+O to join selected vertices to generate an open spline curve actually makes a polyline.
Customer reported version
modo.15.1v1
Customer reported platform
windows10
Steps to reproduce
1. Create two curves with the Curve tool
2. Select an end point of each curve
3. Select Make Open Curve in the Curve tab to create a curve from the selected vertices
Expected behavior
In Polygon Mode, mouse over the just-created curve and note what it says in the coord info panel. It should say curve.
Actual behavior
In Polygon Mode, mouse over the just-created curve and note what it says in the coord info panel. It says it's a polyline.
Workaround
Use "Make closed curve" in the Curve tab or Ctrl+P to join selected vertices to generate a closed spline curve.
