Steps to reproduce

1) Download and open the attached scene file.
2) Re-scale the Plane and notice the viewport performance is as expected.
3) Open the 3D Viewport Properties and set Replicators to All.

4) Re-scale the Plane and notice the poor viewport performance.​

Expected behaviour
As the Replicator and Surface Particle Generator items are hidden the viewport performance shouldn't be affected. 

Actual behaviour
Poor viewport performance when Replicators is set to All.
