Problem summary Monitor out with 12 bit video performance is worse than 10/8 bit
Blackmagic and Floating window don't support 12 bit, so only tested with AJA
Customer reported version nuke studio 13
Customer reported platform CentOS 7
Steps to reproduce
1) Copy footage form /netshare/support/4Pete/footage/4KEXR to a local drive
2) Open Nuke Studio with a Kona 4 attached to the machine and driver 15.5.4.1
3) Import the footage and add it to the timeline
4) Set the timeline resolution to UHD and the framerate to 30 fps (some machines reproduce with lower fps)
5) Enable Monitor out, and set the resolution to UHD30 and the bit depth to 10 bit 4:2:2
6) Play back the viewer, it plays without issue
7) Set the monitor out bit depth the 12 bit 4:4:4 - dual link
8) Play back the Viewer, after a few seconds, the frame rate stats to drop. Sometimes jumping the play head to another part of the timeline helps the issue happen faster or adding other file types, like QuickTimes.
Expected behaviour For Nuke Studio to be able to playback standard FPS 12 bit monitor out enabled
Actual behaviour The frame rate bounces around drastically:
