Problem summary
In some events the Stitch Mesh Setup tool doesn't add the stitch prototype. Customer reported version

11_big_sur Steps to reproduce
1) Open Modo and create a Torus mesh item.
2) Press 'N' to create a new mesh item, select the Bezier curve tool and enable Mesh Contraint and set it to Background
3) With the empty 'mesh' item selected draw a curve on the Torus:
4) Select the Stitch Mesh... tool and set it to the following and select OK.
5) When the Select Preset window appears select the FAT 2 5mm Stitch and select OK.
6) Notice that in some cases even though a Mesh_StitchItem is created in the items list it isn't added to the curve.
Note: This doesn't seem to occur 100% of the time so you may need to perform these steps again to reproduce this issue. Expected behaviour
A stitch should be created and added along the curve. Actual behaviour
In some cases the stiches are not added to the curve. Workaround
