Steps to reproduce
1) Download the attached scene file and open it in Modo.
2) Go to the Render layout.
3) Make sure the Preview Render is running.
4) Expand the UVrotation material group and select the material group inside.
5) Go to the Texture Locator tab and adjust the UV Rotation value, notice how the red normals are rotated with the texture.

Expected behaviour
The texture should be rotated, but not the normals.

Actual behaviour
The normals are being rotated with the texture.

Workaround
Unknown.
