Problem summary
Setting OpenSubdiv Compute to GPU causes Modo to crash.

Steps to reproduce
1) Launch Modo.
2) Open customer provided file.
3) Select Cube mesh from Item List.
4) Go to Item Properties and select the Surface tab.
5) Scroll down to Catmull-Clark section.
6) Click to Add OpenSubdiv.
7) Click Compute drop-down and select GPU.
8) Observe that Modo crashes.
Expected behaviour
Modo should continue to function.
Actual behaviour
Modo crashes.
