Steps to reproduce

1) Launch Modo.

2) Import customer provided OBJ.

3) Open containing folder in the Item List and select the mesh.

4) Go to Fusion tab and click New Fusion.

5) Choose any Fusion-Ready Preset and then choose for to either be additive or subtractive.

6) Choose the Fusion Item from the Item List.

7) Scroll down in Properties to Convert to Mesh Item.

6) Click Yes on the first/second pop-up messages.

7) Note that an error appears stating "There are no polygons to operate on."

Expected behaviour
The Mesh Fusion item should converted to mesh item.

Actual behaviour
An Error is received "There are no polygons to operate on." A Mesh Fusion mesh is created, but there is not item in the viewport.

Workaround
Retopology of the obj appears to create a mesh item that will accept fusion and conversion.
