Problem summary Nuke 13 is much slower to render BlinkScript nodes on the CPU than Nuke 12 releases.
In Nuke 13.0 versions, the GPU performance is consistent with 12.2 and 12.1, however, CPU performance is now much worse.
Customer reported version N/A
Customer reported platform CentOS 7
Steps to reproduce
1) Download the attach .nk script
2) Execute the script via the terminal, like so:
nuke -F 1,5 -x Blink_Index_test.nk
3) Repeat this in Nuke 12.2 and observe the difference in render times.
Expected behaviour The time to render BlinkScript nodes on the CPU should be the similar to, or better than, Nuke 12 versions.
Actual behaviour It is also significantly slower on the CPU in Nuke 13.0, compared to Nuke 12 releases.
Workaround Unknown.
