This describes the 'global frame' or 'current time', as defined by the project settings (root node) 'currentTime' parameter (which may be referenced as 'project.currentTime'). 'frame', however, refers to the 'time' (as a floating point value) for which a parameter is evaluated (`getValue(time)`), which depends on the context of evaluation, and may differ from the global frame, for example due to manipulation during node graph traversal, or multisampling.
