ID 503000 - Editing an existing network material in a Material node does not display exposed parameters

Problem summary
In a Material node, when editing an existing Network Material with promoted parameters, the parameters group is not displayed.

Steps to reproduce

1) In the Node Graph tab, create a NetworkMaterialCreate node
2) In the NeworkMaterialCreate context, create a dlStandard shader node and set the edit flag
3) In the Parameters tab, promote a couple of parameters 
4) In the Node Graph tab, add a Material node down stream and set the edit flag
5) In the Parameters tab, set the action parameter to "edit material"
6) Set the edit.location parameter to the Network Material (/root/materials/NetworkMaterial)

Expected behavior
In the Parameters tab, the exposed parameters show up as a group parameter:

Actual behavior
There is no parameters group shown in the Material group parameters:

Workaround
Closing and re-opening the Katana project may show the parameters group.
