ID 494883 - Windows Ink creates additional clicks on short tablet strokes

Follow

Problem summary
If you draw a very short, quick stroke when using a Wacom tablet on Windows, you'll get a "click" at the original point you touched the stylus down, creating a spot of paint with full pressure at that point.

Customer reported version
Mari 5.0v1

Customer reported platform
Windows 10

Steps to reproduce

1) Open or create any project.

2) Select a paint node (create one if required)

3) Set up the brush to only vary color by pen pressure and ensure the background/foreground colors are black/white

4) Draw a light stroke into the paint buffer, ensuring it's short and that you release it quickly

NOTE: The same thing will also happen if you touch and release the stylus at the same point - a black spot will be painted at the initial touch and then after release, a white spot is painted on top

Expected behaviour
A short stroke should be painted that's dark in color.

Actual behaviour
A white dot is produced at the origin of the stroke.

Workaround
Unknown.
