Scene specific performance issues when scrubbing the timeline or moving to a different frame.

Steps to reproduce
1) Launch Modo.
2) Load customer provided scene.
3) Go to Animate layout.
4) Attempt to scrub the timeline.
5) Note that Modo will freeze briefly with every attempt at moving the timeline.
6) This also occurs when simply clicking on a different frame in the timeline.
Expected behaviour
Timeline should scrub without significant delay or drop in performance.
Actual behaviour
There is a consistent performance decrease when scrubbing the timeline.
