Steps to reproduce
 
1) Download the attached Import_fails_1.exr or Import_fails_2.exr files

2) Open any project

3) Drag the image into the Image Manager or import it into a Paint node
 
Expected behaviour
The EXR should load successfully.
 
Actual behaviour
The import fails with the following error message:
