ID 503821 - The "icon size" preference has no effect in the Sequence Viewer

Problem summary
The icon size preference has no effect in the Sequence Viewer. However, it does work as expected in the Comp Viewer.
Other settings, like the 2d handle size, do seem to work as expected in both the Sequence and Comp Viewers.

Steps to reproduce
1) Open Nuke Studio

2) Import a clip (File > Import File(s)...) and drop it on to the Timeline.

3) Create a Transform soft effect on your clip.

4) Navigate to Edit > Preferences > Viewer Handles.

5) Change the icon size setting to a different value. Then press OK.

Expected behaviour
The icon size preference should scale the Transform Overlay in the Sequence Viewer.
 
Actual behaviour
The icon size preference seems to have no effect in the Sequence Viewer, but it does work as expected in the Comp Viewer:
