ID 508190 - Performance issues occurs when resolving a UNC networked filepath in Windows

Follow

Problem summary
Performance issues occurs when resolving a UNC networked filepath in Windows.

Customer reported version
nuke.12.2v9

Customer reported platform
windows10

Steps to reproduce
1) Ensure a networked filepath is available with UNC pathing. ex: //netshare/
2) Launch Nuke and open the file browser to read in a file (R).
3) Begin typing the file path of the networked location.

Expected behavior
The filepath should be resolved without performance issues.

Actual behavior
A stuttering and general slowness occurs when retrieving the file location with UNC pathing. This leads to the application freezing/white screen for a period of time, and can sometimes prevent Nuke from continuing and need to be force-closed.

Workaround
There is no available workaround at this time.
