Problem summary
Scene specific issue moving the vertices of a hidden item results in a crash.

Steps to reproduce
1) Launch Modo.
2) Load customer provided scene.
3) In the Item List expand the item group and select the two hidden mesh items.
4) Enable Vertex selection in the top left of the viewport.
5 ) Use right mouse button lasso to select all vertices.
6) Press 'W' to pick up the Move Tool.
7) Move the tool around in the viewport.
8) In the Item List select the Camera item.
9) Use the Move Tool to move the selected.
10) Note that Modo will crash at this point.
Expected behavior
Once the Camera item is chosen with the previously selected vertices and the Move Tool active, the item should move freely without issue.
Actual behavior
Modo crashes.
