Steps to reproduce
 
1) Launch Modo.

2) Load customer provided scene.

3) Note the alignment of the curves mesh and that the come to a point away from the origin mesh item.
 
4) Press F8 to open the Preview Render window.
 
5) Observe that hair guides do not intersect in line with the point the curves meet at.
 
Expected behaviour
The hair should converge to match the curves.
 
Actual behaviour
The hair does not meet at the point the curves intersect at.
 
Workaround
Unknown.
