ID 518397 - Export: Cannot export dialogue for many panels with a database containing over a million rows in the vPanel and panel tables

Problem summary
Cannot export dialogue for many panels (1000+) with a database containing many rows in vPanel (1,210,000+) and panel (906,750+) tables.

Steps to reproduce
1) Have a very large database
2) Go to a sequence containing at least 1000 panels
3) Export dialogue for all panels
 
Expected behaviour
Dialogue text file is exported
 
Actual behaviour
The export fails with "Server error: invalid connection"

This bug has been reproduced in:
6.4.1 - CentOS 7 Server
 
Earliest version tested
Due to the nature of the bug, regression testing was not possible but it is likely this issue is present in all versions of the product.
